Our little Joanie started at Bay Buddies when she was 6 months old, and we are delighted with how things are going. We were a little concerned about starting Joanie at daycare at such a young age but have no regrets at all. The staff are lovely, and Joanie lights up when she sees them in the morning. The facilities are great and even at 6 months old Joanie has made lots of friends there. We know she is benefitting from social interaction with both the teachers and other little ones. We get text messages and picture updates about how Joanie is doing, as well as daily updates about her eating and sleeping schedules while she is there. We started Joanie at 2 days a week and have been able to gradually increase this, which has been super helpful for our work schedules and gives our little one time to settle in. One other benefit is that Bay Buddies has slightly longer hours than other places, which is useful on those longer workdays.”

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the care, support and learning provided by Bay Buddies to Penny and Ezra.

Throughout our time so far at Bay Buddies, the centre has proven to be nothing short of outstanding. Their dedication and commitment to the children and families truly stood out, especially during Covid and the time after that.

Both Penny and Ezra have enjoyed every single day they spent at the centre. The warm and nurturing environment provided by the staff made them feel right at home from the very beginning. It has been a delight to witness their growth and development over the years, and I credit a significant part of it to their enriching experiences with Bay Buddies.

Penny will miss her Bay Buddies family as she moves on to start Primary School, and I'm thankful that Ezra still has another couple of years in the centre.

I just need to give a huge shout-out to how cool and how great and just plain right out awesome the Bay Buddies Tamatea Team is. Can I just start this off with a huge THANK YOU, Thank you so much!

Words can’t really express how much I appreciate Bay Buddies, Kirsty, and the team and what they do every day for my son, My son started off at Bay Buddies very nervous and wasn’t really keen to go, also very attached to me. With a change of staff and all the covid-19 craziness going on, I just couldn’t be more grateful for Kirsty and her team and for helping Arikinui adjust so easily in the kindest warm-hearted way! They stick by you no matter what and help not only you adjust as a parent but your child. I really thought he was not going to adjust as dropping him off each day seemed to get harder, but now he is walking in on his own and has done nothing but thrive. If it wasn’t for Kirsty and her team doing nothing but support our kids literally through thick and thin, then I don’t know what I would have done.

They let the kids explore and be who they are and he is always coming home, surprising me with something new he has learned; picking him up at the end of the day and seeing that bright, happy smile, I just know he has had the best day! I’m so thankful I found Bay Buddies Tamatea, Thank-you Kirsty, and your amazing team! We look forward to the rest of the year with you all!

Bay Buddies has been a wonderful nurturing team. I would highly recommend them to my close family and friends. Antonio loves going to preschool, and if he is ever having a hard time the staff go out of their way to ensure he is well looked after. I am impressed with their diversity and have created a strong bond with my toddler. At the moment, my son is toilet training and with the help of Bay Buddies staff it's been going well at home.
